Computer Books Review is a syndication service. The reviews are available for publication for a fee by any editor who this wishes to take the service. There is no obligation on an Editor to publish all the reviews prepared.
About 20 reviews are written each month, all of them personally by the editor of Computer Books Review. Since the service started over 5000 reviews have been prepared.
No claim is made that "long critical reviews" are prepared. The purpose of the reviews is to inform the reader of the coverage and purpose of the books. Full bibliographic details are given in a standard format used by librarians.
Computer Books Review commenced when the Editor was editor of the "Software World" series and all reviews continue to appear there. The editor/publisher of the "Software World" series may be contacted on 01582 833504. Neither Computer Books Review nor the "Software World" series carry advertising. The monthly paid circulation of the "Software World" series is about 600 copies a month, mainly to libraries outside the UK.
Publishers wishing to increase the market for their books are encouraged to draw the attention of the editor to suitable publications for the syndication service available from Computer Books Review.
