Your reviewer had always taken the view that the British Computer
Misuse Act and similar anti-hacking legislation worldwide was a
legal defence against the weaknesses of operating systems with
a long design history. We were fond to ask the rhetorical
question, "Who has ever heard of a hacker breaking into an
AS/400?". We now have an answer - Joseph S Park. This author
also has the answer to the "What shall I do?" question. The
AS/400 was and is intended to be a somewhat opaque high level
machine. The author indicates the low level knowledge available
to programmers who may run amok and shows the preventative steps
necessary. Includes programs on a bound in disk.
